Our 2016 staff pick list of adult fiction and non-fiction titles includes: books we personally loved reading this year; our library’s ‘most issued’ author; books that explored topical issues and stories so incredible it's hard to believe they're true!
Film versions of several books were released, and Marlborough scenery starred on the big screen. starring in And despite the loss of so many famous names, we were able to round off a busy year with a book full of laughs from possibly two of the nicest men in the world. Enjoy!
Marlborough District Libraries (Blenheim and Picton) now has a collection of books donated from Marlborough, Wiltshire, in the United Kingdom.
These were gifted by our British counterpart in a city-to-city initiative. Check out the collection, which includes Adult Non-Fiction and Children's Titles.
