New Computers Installed at Libraries

Sixteen new 'chrome station' computers have been successfully installed in Marlborough District Library (Blenheim) and Picton Library and Service Centre this week.

These are part of a strategy to bridge the digital divide in New Zealand at 140 public libraries and are provided through the Aotearoa People's Network Kaharoa--APNK.

The chrome-based operating system feature a change to 'Google' docs, sheets, folders and mail. Use of the computers and scanner is completely free. There is however a charge for printing, although A4 colour printing is now available.

So visit your local library and sample the wonderful new technology.
