Marlborough District Libraries Summer Reading Programme is returning for the summer.

Registrations are open.

This year our theme is Summer Book Bingo. There are three levels of bingo available.

• Read together is for those who are just beginning their reading journey and need a little help or enjoy reading with an adult.
• Independendent readers is for those who are reading by themselves.
• Teens is for readers selecting books at a teen or adult level.

Whilst taking part in the reading programme, readers will complete a series of reading and library based activties and mark them off on their bingo cards. Participants who complete the card will receive a prize. Prizes can be collected from the library between 15 December 2025 and 30 January 2026.

There are no limits on numbers this year, so everyone aged 4-18 years can participate. To register, parents and caregivers simply need to visit the library. Children do not need to be present. Those who register will receive a bingo booklet where their reading is recorded and activities are marked off. Teens can register independently.
